🔍 About the Role

Join Bertie’s fast-growing engineering team to help build the world’s leading AI-powered venture development platform. As a Software Engineer, you'll work on both frontend and backend features, pair with senior teammates, and help drive product improvements across the stack—from our rich UIs to our AI-enhanced content and program automation workflows.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Implement full-stack features using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL/REST.
• Contribute to platform scalability and performance, particularly in collaboration and content workflows.
• Use LangChain, and OpenAI to develop AI-augmented tools.
• Participate in code reviews and peer programming sessions.
• Document processes and contribute to our handbook-first engineering culture.

✅ Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficient in TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with modern Node.js frameworks, and deployments using cloud services.
• Experience about building secure cloud applications. 
• Curious about AI and motivated to build with tools like OpenAI, LangChain, etc.
• Comfortable working in a remote team with async communication.

• Exposure to Azure services or CI/CD workflows.
• Prior involvement in collaborative environments (Slack + Confluence culture).
